Marco Island

South Marco Beach Access is located on South Collier Blvd with parking available a short walk across the boulevard on Swallow Ave, Restroom facilities.  Parking $8   Open 8 am to Sundown  239-252-4000

Tigertail Beach,  a county park located at end of Hernando Drive, has restrooms, boardwalks, picnic area, playground, Butterfly garden and concession stand offering beach equipment rentals, food and drinks.  Parking $8   open 8 am to sundown  239-252-4000



Clam Pass Park is a county park on Seagate Drive.  Trams transport visitors to beach with picnic area and concession stand.   Chairs, Cabanas and kayaks available.  Restrooms and foot showers.  Parking $8   Trams run daily 8 am to sunset   239-252-4000

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park at intersection of 111th Ave North and Gulf Shore Drive.  Picnic areas, restrooms with wheelchair access and outdoor showers.  Use of boat ramp is $5 plus tax.  Park rangers conduct nature programs.   Admission $4 per car carrying one passenger, $6 per card carrying 2-8 passengers or $2 per pedestrian, bicyclist or extra passenger.  Open 8 am to Sunset.  239-597-6196

Lowdermilk Park located along Gulf Shore Blvd at Banyan Blvd.  2000 feet of beachfront, outdoor showers, gazebos, picnic table, playground, vollyball court, concession stand and duck pond.  Wheelchair accessible restrooms.  Metered parking.  Open sunrise to sundown.  239-213-3029

Vanderbilt Beach Park at end of Vanderbilt Beach Road.  Tree and residence lined county beach.   Parking with handicap accessibillity to beach.  Snacks and watersports rentals available at The Ritz Carlton, Naples and Vanderbilt Inn resorts.  Metered parking or parking garage.  Open 8 am to sundown  239-252-4000

Via Miramar Beach has public access on Gulf Shore Blvd North just south of Harbour Drive, ample parking and outdoor shower.  Short walk south is jetty at Doctors Pass which provides Gulf access from Naples Bay.  Metered parking.  Open sunrise to sundown.


Bonita Springs

Barefoot Beach Preserve.  Signs at intersection of Barefoot Beach Blvd and Bonita Beach Rd.  Enter past security booth and continue 2 miles.   342 acre preserve contains coastal hammock and 1 mile nature trail.  Changing rooms, showers, restrooms and snack bar.  Nature interpretation stations.  Collier County beach parking permits or $8 per vehicale.   239-252-4000

Bonita Beach Park off  Bonita Beach Rd at 27943 Hickory Blvd.  Picnic tables, grills, playground, sand volleyball court, restrooms.  Parking $2 per hour.  Open 7 am until dusk.

Dog Beach  Dogs may run free  8800 Estero Blvd.  No facilities.  Parking is free.  Open 7 am until dusk.  239-707-1874

Little Hickory Island Beach Park  between Bonita Beach and Lovers Key.  Popular beach for fishing.  Restrooms, picnic tables and shelters.  Parking $2 per hour.


Cape Coral

Yacht Club Community Park,  5819 Driftwood Parkway.  On Caloosahatchee River.  picnic tables, restrooms,outdoor showers, tennis courts,  free boat ramp, barbecue area, public pool and large beach pavilion available for rent. Tennis Courts at minimal charge.   Marine biology classes offered.  free Parking.  $10 per boat trailer to park.  Pool hours 10 am to 5 pm.  239-574-0806


Fort Myers Beach

Bowditch Point Regoional Park.  Take Matanzas Pass Bridge to beach, turn right at foot of bridge and follow Estero Blvd to the end.  17 acres of recreational area and nature preserve.  Restrooms, picnic tables, concessions, grills, hiking paths and wheelchair accessible beach access.  Parking $2 per hour.  Open 7 am until dusk  239-765-6794

Bunche Beach Preserve on San Carlos Bay on John Morris Road off Summerlin Rd before Sanibel Causeway.  overlooks Ft Myers Beach and Sanibel Island.  718 acres of nature preserves, popular with fishermen and paddlers.  No facilities.  Limited parking  Open 7 am to dusk.  239-765-6794

Fort Myers Beach just east of Lynn Hall Memorial Park.  Beach bars and cafes.  Rent wave runners, parasailing, jet boat and more.  park at Lynn Hall Memorial Park or in a private lot or at meters under the bridge; or ride the trolley.   239-765-6794

Lakes Regional Park located off Gladiolus Dr.  Bathrooms, bike and boat rentals, freshwater fishing, pavilions for rent, biking and walking trails.  No swimming.  Train ride runs along the lake.   239-533-7575

Lovers Key State Park  comprises 2 barrier islands between Ft Myers Beach and Bonita Beach.  Parking is plentiful.  Pavillions, nature trails, concession stand and a bridge links the islands.  Canoe, kayak, paddleboard and bike rentals.  Public boat ramps.  suggested donation of $2 to launch.  Admission $2 for pedestrians and bicyclists  $4 for single occupancy vehicles.   $8 for motor vehicles carrying up to 8 passengers.  Open 8 am to sunset.  239-463-4588

Lynn Hall Memorial Park located in heart of Ft Myers Beach.   Turn right at foot of Matanzas Pass Bridge, left off Estero Blvd.  Restrooms, playground, fishing pier, picnic shelters, grills and shops and restaurants at Times Square pedestrian mall.  Parking $2 per hour.  Lots fill quickly.  Open dawn to dusk.  239-765-6794


Sanibel/Captive Islands

Bowman’s Beach located off Sanibel-Captiva Rd on Bowman’s Beach Rd.  Noted for its wildlife, shelling and seclusion.  Pentiful parking plus restrooms, changing rooms, showers, drinking fountains, picnic tables, grills and parking for recreational vehicles.   Parking $4 per hour.  Open 7 am to 7 pm  239-472-0345

Causeway islands.  Visitors pay a toll to Snibel and Captiva islands.  Beaches are located on both sides of the road with picnic tables and restrooms on the second island and offer excellent shelling and fishing.   Leashed pets welcome.  Free parking

Gulfside City Park/Algiers Beach   Located off Casa Ybel Rd on Sanibel Island.  Shaded picnic areas, boardwalks and restrooms.  pet friendly.  Parking $4 per hour  239-472-0345

Lighthouse Beach  Eastern tip of Sanibel.   Small fishing pier, restrooms, drinking fountains, hiking paths and parking for recreational vehicles.  Parking $4 per hour.  239-472-0345

Tarpon Bay Beach  Southern end of Tarpon Bay Rd on Sanibel.  Pets on leashes allowed.  Restrooms and parking for recreational vehicles.  Parking $4 per hour.  239-472-0345

Turner Beach  at North end of Blind Pass which separates Sanibel and Captiva Islands.  Popular with families and fishermen, signs caution some areas against swimming due to swift currents.  Restrooms and outdoor showers on Captiva side.  Parking $4 per hour.  239-472-0345
